The Senior Tag Championships brought together the top eight teams from each division for a do-or-die battle for the 2026 titles. After qualifying through the zone tournaments the week before, teams arrived ready to give it everything, and the level of competition across the day was outstanding. With fast-paced games, close scorelines, and high skill on display, the Championships were a true showcase of the best senior tag talent from across Auckland schools.

The atmosphere throughout at Cox Bay Reserve was electric, with supporters, coaches, and teammates backing their schools as teams fought hard to finish the season on top. Every game mattered, and you could see the determination and pride from every team that took the field, making for an exciting and memorable championship event.

A huge thank you to New Zealand Tag Football Incorporated and their team, who we worked alongside to prepared and delivered all three tournaments. These tournaments wouldn’t be possible without their continued support and hard work.
