The Junior Volleyball Championships were held over three days last week at Pulman Arena, featuring more than 100  teams. History was made in the boys’ division, with Macleans College and Papatoetoe High School meeting in the final for the first time. Macleans College secured the title with a 2–1 victory, and the MVP award was presented to Jake Ashley from Macleans College.

In the girls’ division, Orewa College defeated Howick College 2–1, claiming the title for the first time since 2012. The MVP award went to Savanna Fitzpatrick from Orewa College.
