The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior Colts Cricket Coach to lead and develop our Year 9 and 10 cricket players. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cricket and youth development to contribute to a strong sporting culture. This is to cover the season dates starting trainings now and covering the season from October 18th until November 22nd, A small honorarium will be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging training sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

• Coach the Junior Colts team during weekday practices and Saturday matches throughout the season.

• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that aligns with the values of St Peter’s College.

• Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual and team growth.

• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the Director of Sport regarding schedules, expectations, and performance.

• Ensure player safety and uphold the College’s Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience coaching or playing cricket at a competitive level.

• A passion for working with young people and developing their potential.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to the values and ethos of St Peter’s College.

• Coaching qualifications (or willingness to obtain them) are desirable but not essential.
