On Wednesday, the 20th of August, we held all our 4 finals at North Harbour Hockey for Premier and A1. 

It was a great evening to celebrate the end of the hockey season.

We started the night with our A1 Final of Rangitoto v Sacred Heart and Rangitoto came out on top 4-1 as the overall score. Both schools will compete in promotion/relegation in 2026 to enter the premier competition.

In the 3v4 A1 game that was happening at the same time, Orewa won 3-1 against Westlake Boys 2Xl

In the Premier Final we had Westlake Boys v Saint Kentigern in a very close game with Saint Kentigern getting the edge 1-0. It was a great game with some high level of hockey on display from both teams. This was the first time that Saint Kentigern had beaten Westlake in 2025 after Westlake took out both games during the regular season. 

In the 3v4 Premier game that was happening at the same time, King's and Auckland Grammar could not be separated after 60 minutes of play and went into shootouts. King's ended up coming out on top in the shootout 6-5 to claim 3rd place in the Premier Competition.

Thank you to North Harbour Hockey, Auckland Hockey, the officials, coaches, managers and everyone invovled in delivering another great season.
