Selwyn College is a co-educational school with an extensive sports programme, catering to students from year 9 to 13.

A suitable qualified coach is being sought to lead our Girls 1st XI Hockey team. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with high school players and be passionate about developing athletes. Additionally, the below is expected:

• Deliver at least two training per week, on-site at school. Training dates and times are to be confirmed by the coach subject to their availability.

• Attend all games held on a Thursday (normally from 4 pm onwards in Terms 2 & 3) at venues around Auckland.

- Attend the Girls Hockey Satellite tournament from 24th – 29th August– all accommodation, and food will be paid for.

• Provide guidance to the wider hockey program and mentor other coaches.

• Undergo police vetting.

The School also provides generous support and resources to encourage coaches to reach their highest professional standards. Coaches will enjoy the use of excellent facilities and become involved in the Selwyn sporting community.

A remuneration package can be discussed for the right candidates.
