Nominations Procedure

All nominations must be submitted online at www.collegesport.co.nz though Enter now.  No hard copy nomination forms will be posted out - please do not produce your own hard copies; they will not be accepted.

1.    You will be required to enter a ‘Login’ and a ‘Password’ to enable you to submit nominations. The login is the same as used to submit entries on the Enter Now site. 

2.     We ask that an appointed staff member submits the nominations (not the student), and takes all reasonable steps to check that the information provided is correct.

3.     Go to www.collegesport.co.nz  and click on EnterNOW online entries to the right of the screen you will need your user name and password, click on YSPOTY then choose from a list of categories available for nomination. There are 33 Sports (athletics-yachting), as well as Athlete with a Disability, All Rounder and National Team Champions.

4.   Click on “Add nomination” click on the required category, complete the yellow section.  If any of the yellow sections are left empty, the nomination will not be accepted.  When <save> is clicked, you will be asked to go back and complete the missing information.

a.    Complete their sporting performances/achievements for 2010. The boxes in this section are labelled with what information is required, refer to handbook for details on this. (We only want Nov 2009 to end of Oct 2010 achievements).

b.    When finished, click <save>. Please print confirmation page to keep a record of the nomination(s).  Note: unlike previous years you will not be emailed a copy of your submitted nomination.

c.     Repeat this procedure for each of your school’s nominations.

d.     If you are nominating a student in more than one category, submit a separate nomination for each category.

e.     Ensure all nominations are submitted before 5pm, Friday  10th September 2010.

f.      Note: Any additional performances not mentioned on nominations submitted on or before 10th September, can still be accepted. These must be on the ‘Additional Information’ form. This form will be available for 11th September  to 22 October.
